2-Day Beginning Riders course for Motorcycle license

The Basic Riders Course is perfect for new riders who have no or very limited experience on a motorcycle.
Completion of this course meets Texas requirements to obtain the M endorsement.
There is a required 5-hour online eCourse that must be completed before you come to class. There is not a written test for this class.
During your two-day class you will spend 10 hours on one of our motorcycles.
Our training bikes are 2020 KTM 200 Dukes, 2024 Navi's and 2025 Grom's.
You must pass the class to get the Certificate of Completion for the DMV.
1-day Course - for experienced riders who need their motorcycle license

This Intermediate level course is designed to meet Texas requirements for experienced riders needing their M endorsement.
You must use your own motorcycle, or you can borrow a friends bike to take the class. Borrowed bikes must have a letter of use from the owner plus a copy of their insurance.
If you are "between" motorcycles or do not have your own, select a Monday class, you may rent one of our Training Bikes for an additional fee of $50
There is a required four-hour online course that must be completed before your class date. This meets the State requirement for the "Written Portion"
Graduates of this course will receive the needed MSB8 Completion Certificate required by the DMV to have the M endorsement added to your current DL.
Notice:
If you sign up a class as a gift or for a friend, make sure you use their email address and cell number in the registration. That is the only way we have of getting the required eCourse to them and send reminders for the class.
1-day Skill Enhancement Course

The MSF BRC2u Intermediate course is for Licensed Riders and is a great course for a ticket violation.
Who is this course for
It's typically used for graduates from a Basic Riders Course who want to enhance their newly learned skills on their own motorcycle.
Almost every new rider has taken their 2-day BRC on a 250cc or smaller motorcycle. This course allows "you" a new rider to bring your own "larger" bike and let our coaches help you enhance your skills. As a student you will be in the same class with the unlicensed riders working for their M endorsement, but you do not need to take any online course, nor is there any test. Just a chance to have a trained coach make sure you are as safe and comfortable on your new bike. It's especially great as you buy a larger or different style bike than what you are accustomed to.
If you are going to ride with a passenger on your bike, we highly encourage you to take this course and bring your passenger. This allows us to work with both you and your passenger on how the two of you can affect the stability of the motorcycle. There is no additional charge for your passenger.
Although not a License Waiver class, it will meet the requirement to help remove a motorcycle-related traffic ticket from your record.
Participants receive a numbered MSF completion card which can also help with a discount for insurance.
This course consists of 8 range exercises to enhance your current riding skill. And is offered every Monday and sometimes on Saturday or Sunday on a larger range.
Advanced Riders Course

Who is the ARC Really For
The name says Advanced, but that can be misleading. It’s for riders who:
✔ Already have some basic street experience
✔ Want to build confidence beyond the basics
✔ Want a safe environment to learn and improve
✔ Are curious, cautious, and want to ride smarter
You don’t have to be perfect — you just have to want to get better.
What You’ll Get Out of an ARC?
Better Skills, Not Tough Tricks
You’ll learn techniques that help you handle real riding situations more confidently — like:
How to brake smoothly and efficiently
How to steer with precision
How to slow, tighten or widen turns safely
How to be more aware of what’s happening around you
These are practical skills, not stunt riding.
More Control = More Confidence
Everything is taught in a controlled, supportive setting — on a large open course. You go at your own pace. There’s no competition or pressure.
Our experienced coaches give immediate and timely one-on-one feedback so you can improve quickly comfortably.
Safety First
This course helps you become a safer rider on familiar roads:
Better balance and body position
Smoother throttle and brake use
More predictable responses in unexpected situations
This isn’t about pushing you to do “dangerous” things — it’s about helping you avoid danger.
Intro to Adventure Riding

This MSF one-day course is a 6-hour Off-Road course designed to take a licensed rider on your personal Adventure Bike into the world of offroad exploring. The Intro to ADV course is located at Rio Bravo MX Park located at 11610 N Lake Pkwy, Houston, TX 77044.
Participants must wear full riding gear for this course. Riding Pants, ADV boots, Riding Jacket, full finger protective ADV gloves and Full-Face DOT helmet, (ADV preferred). You will be learning bike balance while standing up, tight turns, and off-road stopping techniques, just to name a few. This can be a more strenuous course then even dirt bike training due to the additional weight of Adventure Bikes, so we highly encourage participants to bring fluid and good snacks.
Course fees also include the Park entrance fee where participants completing the Intro to ADV Riding can take their newly acquired skills out on the trails for practice on the same day. Our RiderCoach loves these trails and will most likely be out there after class with his class.
NOTE:
This class will be offered once a month on a Sunday and will always be located at Rio Bravo MX Park. We are at the mercy of the Park Guidelines. If there has been rain the day(s) before or the day of the class, the Park will not open in effort to protect the integrity of their dirt facility. Student Riders will be contacted and another date in the near future will be set.
Street Masters Street Rider Weekend

This Course is designed for all levels of licensed riders to enhance the skills you already have.
There are (5) total exercise areas designed to handle up to 12 students each exercise, plus a small Circuit course where you can actually practice repetitively what you have learned. All areas will have 1-2 coaches at each exercise, and this course is set up to give you a 1 on 1 guidance by a highly trained Instructors.
In this course you will work on the following:
1. Bike Balance - understanding the dynamics of rider to your specific bike for ultimate control at all speeds.
2. Body Positioning - Learn how your body positioning for Street Riding is essential to overall motorcycle control as speed and during adversities.
3. Emergency Stopping - In this course you will develop a deep understanding of progressive braking starting at speeds of 15 MPH and on up to 45 MPH.
4. Trail Braking - Learn the power of Trail Braking through all curves to stay in complete control of your bike for any curve.
5. Slow & Control - Build calm, smooth, control at low speeds. This exercise allows the rider to gain overall low speed controls of their bike in a less stressful manor than typically taught in a class.

More than being the only non-profit motorcycle safety training facility in Texas, Safety On Two Wheels has become the premier motorcycle training facility in the south Texas area for motorcycle safety training for beginners learning to ride for the first time, experienced riders needing their M endorsement, and one Intermediate class and one Advanced class for licensed riders wanting to improve their riding skills.
Our student population drives in from as far as Beaumont, Lake Jackson, Richmond, Rosenberg, Pearland, Alvin, Galveston, League City, Clear Lake, Kemah, Sugar Land, Katy, Hempstead, Waller, Navasota, College Station/Bryan, Montgomery, Huntsville, and Livingston. We also have students travel from as far as Longview, Tyler, Austin, San Antonio and even Corpus Christi for our one-day license waver course. Every one of these students have driven past other training facilities just to come out to our location in Tomball for their classes.
We know that as a beginning student who has never ridden a motorcycle or at best have very minimal experience, the thought of riding a motorcycle for the first time is a mix of excitement and concern. All of our coaches have spent multiple days in classrooms and on the range learning how to coach people into becoming safe motorcycle operators. And over their years of coaching careers have continued their personal growth by taking additional training to coach several different levels of motorcycle training.
Check out our Coaches page to get an idea of the quality of coaches who work for us.

THE TRAINING BIKES WE USE
Our fleet consists of 8 KTM 200 Dukes, a Kawasaki K125 Pro, and 2 NAVI's for students wanting to ride Scooters only. These bikes are lightweight and ergonomically comfortable for riders from 5'1' to well over 6 feet. NOTE: Our training bikes will be too tall for students below 5'2". Because all of our bikes have fuel injection, electronic throttle, and ABS BYBRE brakes (made by Brembo), we believe learning to handle our motorcycles for new riders is much easier.
